These hutches are appropriate for indoors and outdoors.  They are much more attractive inside than an all-wire hutch.  And they provide shelter on one side and top (or more, depending on the design) required for outdoor rabbits.

I think your rabbit will enjoy the extra freedom this run gives them, whenever you feel that conditions are safe for bunny to be outside in nice weather.

Make sure that the grass is not treated with chemical fertilizer or weed killers.  Check the area for toadstools or plants that you are unfamiliar with.  Do not allow plants that grow from bulbs inside the run.

I honestly think that the smaller version of this is only appropriate for the smallest dwarf breeds - those 2 to 3 lbs. such as Netherland Dwarfs, Polish, Jersey Woolies, Britannia Petites, and the like.  If you have other dwarf breeds, such as Holland Lops or Mini Rex, I'd opt for the larger hutch.

This cage looks a little funky, I realize.  But from a bunny's point of view, it has everything he needs to live comfortably outdoors, even in very cold climates.  Just bring bunny inside whenever an alert is issued for your area for weather too extreme for outdoor animals.  The small enclosure will allow her to conserve her body heat in regular cold weather.

Make sure that your pet is in a fenced-in location.  Stray or even neighbor dogs can kill your rabbit without touching him. 

Outdoor rabbits must be protected from direct sunlight, excessive heat, precipitation, and predators.

Don't even bother with the smaller version of this playpen.  It won't pen your pet in and instead of playing, you'll be chasing.  Cages are often 24" tall.  In these cages, dwarf breeds can barely touch the top of the cage.  I'm not saying that they can't jump out of this playpen, though, just that they can practically walk out of the shorter one.  Make sure your rabbit is supervised while in the playpen.  Outdoors, predators can attack, and a motivated rabbit can escape.
